Implanon removal help?

i've had my implanon for almost a year.. and i've gained 30 freakin pounds. i'm only 17, and i used to look decent in bathing suits... now I'm forced for wear a large shirt, and 9 in pants.. i used to wear a small, and a 3.. which sucks.. so I'm worndering if when I get it removed, will the weight i gained, start going away? lord, I hope so
