In GIS, how do you convert graphics to features and then associate those features with an existing layer?

You're not going to get far here on Yahoo with this question. It's far too specialized and from what I've seen there aren't any GIS peeps out here. I recommend you post your question on either of the three forums below. I'll watch for your post and answer it there.
